Filename Editor is a shell extension that lets you select files from Explorer. Edit any name with a double click of the mouse. Perform operations like Upper case, Lower case, Proper case and Append on all or a selected subset of the files. Copy, Cut and Paste are available to copy data within the spreadsheet or to and from other programs. Use Find and Replace to change strings within filenames. CopyFilenames adds extra commands to the context menu in Windows Explorer. filename will be lowercased and the file gets the current date, so it`s easier to differ from earlier uploaded files. On unix-based internet-servers it makes a big difference, whether the characters of a filename is lower- or uppercase.
